Emmanuel García Ramírez is an artistic creator of Sistema Nacional de Creadores de Arte (Fonca, México. 2010-2013).

He graduated in Graphic Design from the Escuela Nacional de Artes Plásticas (enap, unam) and in Plastic Arts 

from the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado, known as “La Esmeralda” (enpeg, inba). 

Standouts his educational and dissemination work in the field of graphic arts. García Ramírez has coordinated 

multiple engraving workshops in Mexico and abroad, and he is inclined to teach and spread the processes of low 

toxicity in etching and printing.

In the field of individual creation, García Ramírez has stood out in several biennials and contests. He has participated 

in more than one hundred collective exhibitions and nineteen solo exhibitions. Besides, he was the tutor of Graphic discipline 

at the Jóvenes Creadores program (Fonca, 2012-2014). Emmanuel has been beneficiary of the Jóvenes Creadores program 

and he obtained a scholarship from the residency exchange program to Banff Centre, Alberta, Canada.

In 2014, García Ramírez participated in Nao Now. Mexico-Beijing project to open new cultural exchange routes between the two 

countries. Currently, together with Vanessa López, he is in charge of La Duplicadora, a small editorial studio where 

they explore the possibilities of risograph printing.
